Ankh or Key of Life is an ancient Egyptian symbol, one of the most significant symbols of the ancient Egypt, meaning life, immortality, eternity, wisdom, divinity and eternal life. As a hieroglyph, it means βlifeβ (ankh), as a symbol, it indicates the Divine, eternity and the ascension from the material world to a higher one. Its form can be interpreted as the unity of masculine and feminine principles, and other opposites, as the balancing of polarities, the union of Heaven and Earth, and also as the key to the immortal life of the spirit and immortality itself, as the key to energy, to new birth and secret knowledge.
This symbol is a permanent attribute of the gods. The goddess of truth Maat and many other ancient Egyptian deities were depicted with Ankh in hand.
This painting was created on the day of the Solstice and the Solar Eclipse on June 21st, 2020 and is charged with the energies of this one of the most powerful day of the year.
